Concept & Development[]

The inspiration for this came from Bleach with some Sonic Heroes themes mixed in as well.

Summary[]

Under the leadership of Apocalypse, the Demon Legion was led to victory in the subjugation of Planet Mobius. Many lives were lost in the confusion as billions of mobians and humans scurried for safety; hordes of innocents were either captured or killed. The remaining inhabitants that could escape fled to planet Rabba. A few thousand brave souls stayed behind with the intent to win back their infested home planet, and for the next 24 years, they rebelled against the hundreds of billions of demons that dominated the planet.

Several of these soldiers include Miles, CabaraKalusSarah, Shadow, Knuckles, Medusa and so many more. They are members of a once secret subdivision in G.U.N. known as the Demon Slayer Organization, or D.S.O. for short. They exist for the sole purpose of ridding Mobius of the vile, nocturnal monsters that rule it; they do this by not only fighting them, but studying and understanding how they work. There are 7 classes in this organization, 3 of them are in the military division, one for Research and Development and 3 more classes for the medical division.

Military Division[]

The first 3 classes are the military division, each military company is headed by a member of the Commanding Team with his/her teammates supporting them as their first and second lieutenants. Each company has a large number of teams that follow the main one, numbering in the hundreds. The three companies at the moment are: Neo Dark, The Servers, and Freedom Fighters. The primary task of these classes is to assemble teams of capable warriors to hunt down and slay demons; systematically weakening their grip over the planet until they're ready for one final assault to wipe them out. While the military division's primary objective is to slay demons, they also hunt down and bring back valuable resources for R&D; improving their ability to support the field agents and bring everyone closer to their ultimate goal.

Research & Development Division[]

The R&D division is led by Dr. Miles Prower, yes Tails. Its mission is to study the invaders in order to develop various means of beating them. The research has yielded promising results, such as using solar energy and chaos energy to create weapons that would be effective against the hordes. From mass producing daggers made from crystalline chaos energy to U.V. flash bombs; even now the department is developing a new device that's rumored to revolutionize super forms. They also share certain resources with the medical division to improve their ability to heal the field agents.

Medical Division[]

One of the medical divisions is led by Amelia Rose, these classes deal with any medical situations that may arise. Anyone who specializes as a medical professional, may choose to work in one of these 3 classes to help soldiers heal both mentally and physically so they can continue to fight. Amy in particular leads Class B of the Med. D. where other prominent doctors and healers such as Harmony, and Jordan work.

Ability Types[]

Everyone has an Ability Type, a character trait that is defined by one's innate abilities and fighting styles, but few actually know what their type is. Agents in the DSO can discover whether they're a speed type, technique type, or power type. Now, how does someone learn what type they are? By taking an Ability Type Evaluation test, ATE for short, where the subject is put through a series of events that test their mental and physical fortitude; at the same time, the proctors overlooking the test, evaluate how well they deal with them. Afterward, depending on their performance, the individual is scored on a scale of 1 to 7 for each type and is assigned one of the types depending on which one they show the most proficiency in; if two types are equal, then they're assigned the dominant one. When all is said and done, in the case of the agents in the DSO, they will receive a brand that symbolizes their type. Generally, as previously mentioned, speed > technique, technique > power, and power > speed; but the reverse can also be true, given the right circumstances. If character A is a speed type and character B is a power type, then B would have an innate advantage, but there are scenarios where it's possible for character A to win. They may have similar or greater strength and stamina compared to B, they're more tactful with their utilization of speed, or their speed is so much greater that it effectively counteracts the AT (ability type) matchup. Here's a list of characters in their respective ability type categories along with some specifics on each type:

SPEED TYPES[]

Individuals who are adept at executing high-speed movements, demonstrating quick reflexes and maneuvers during combat and travel. Though they are very quick, power types can overpower them with their superior strength and endurance. Speed types can obviously learn moves that utilize their speed such as the Homing Attack, Lightspeed Attack, and more; because of the type's affiliation with the wind, they can also learn techniques that manipulate air currents like projecting focused shockwaves or creating massive whirlwinds. While they can learn the move Thunder Shoot, they can only stun their targets at best; and unless they have pyrokinesis or a great deal of strength, it is unlikely that a speed type can learn power type moves. The faster the user is, the more potent their speed moves are.

TECHNIQUE TYPES[]

They have an affinity for acrobatics, showcasing their proficiency in motor coordination and balance. Despite their agility, speed types will have the advantage due to having faster reaction times. Unlike the other ability types, technique types don't have a shared move pool they can learn from that utilize their dexterity. They instead have moves derived from each of their unique abilities, think of Tails' Dummy Rings or Charmy's Stinger. Technique types can harness electromagnetic forces to draw in items, induce status effects, and more. They can also learn moves such as Thunder Shoot and Thunder Arrow. Due to the nature of this type, they can also learn and develop a larger variety of moves; this is either accomplished by the user combining moves or creating technique variants of speed and power type moves. These moves tend to have special abilities or "haxes" that can be greatly improved upon even if the user doesn't physically get that much stronger.

POWER TYPES[]

Those who possess powerful bodies, exhibiting great physical strength and endurance. As tough as they are, technique types can generally overcome them with their greater maneuverability. Moves that use the individual's might, like the Hammer Punch, can be performed by these types; they also have an affinity for fire and heat, using moves like Fire Dunk, Volcanic Dunk, Maximum Heat Attack. They also have the potential learn certain speed and technique type moves, given the right circumstances.

Supernatural Condition[]

Agents generally possess supernatural physical attributes, allowing them to perform immeasurable feats of strength and speed. They can regulate these stats using their control over chaos energy. With their physical capabilities pushed to such levels, they can match and even surpass their demon adversaries.

Chaos Energy Manipulation[]

In one way or another, agents can tap into the Chaos Force and harness the power of chaos energy; the powerful, yet unstable, pan-dimensional energy that permeates the multiverse. As a result, these "chaos controllers" can develop chaos powers which allow them to manipulate time, space, matter, and energy to various degrees depending on their skill and power. These abilities include- but aren't limited to- teleportation, time travel, matter transmutation, energy projection, and more. Further leveling the playing field with their fiendish foes.

Proficient Combat Skills[]

The field agents are trained in armed and unarmed combat, learning various martial arts skills to use in tandem with their various talents to fight against the demons they hunt.

Advanced Technology[]

To say that their scientists are geniuses is an understatement. By harnessing the unlimited power of the Chaos Emeralds, they've been able to create hyper advanced tech and essentially transform Angel Island, their base of operations, into a Type 5 civilization in matter of decades. This tech would be able to control time, space, matter, and energy to various degrees which would result in spatiotemporal restraints, scopes that detect higher dimensional energies, medical tech that reconstructs mutilated bodies, vehicles that can travel to other dimensions, time machines, armor that can trigger super forms, weapons that can bypass even unconventional durability, and more.
