Kimi-Kimi, aka just "Kimi", is an 18 year old Japanese Bunting from Big City and also the best friend of Tove the Numbat. After appearing in the city's flying race and winning the gold metal, Kimi won herself enough money from the prizes, toys, etc. to retire. While she may seem outgoing and slightly full of herself, Kimi is actually afraid of everything. After suffering a panic attack at age 7, she was diagnosed with a hereditary disease and has had to take medication to calm herself down. Though she has struggled with her disability, she is still well determined and tries her best to cope.
Kimi's love for flying started when she was 5 years old and she overheard her dad talking about how he had been the fastest bird in his whole district. It didn't take long for Kimi to build up the bravery to go out and fly, but when she did she was very bad. It took her years to eventually surpass her competetors, and began to recieve invitations to special games. It wasn't until later in Kimi's life when she was 18 that she was invited to a type of Olymic Game ceremony where she won the gold medal. Soon, toys, posters, t-shirts, cups, pillows, and everything you could imagine was made in Kimi's image. She was on the front cover of every magazine and newspaper for a very long time, especially since she was the first female Bunting athlete to win.
While she isn't as popular as when she first started, Kimi is still considered a little celebrity, but still not as popular as the modern music artist and actor/actress.
